Lenka Kysilková is mainly focusing on factors influencing onset of lactation and breastfeeding. For her diploma thesis, she will be investigating characteristics of the breast and the areola and their
function in infant’s perception. She also studies the role of the areolar glands. Her supervisor is Jan Havlíček. She completed her bachelor’s degree in general biology at Faculty of science at Charles University. She continues her studies here in the field of Zoology specialized in Ecology and ethology.
